Divorce and/or Remarriage
For Divorce Counseling, San Diego Therapy also offers sessions for the children experiencing the pains of their parents' separation. If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, then it's time to seek a solution.
- Has your child stopped listening to you?
- Is there no respect?
- Has your child missed curfew?
- Has your child run away?
- Does your child have unexplained behavioral changes?
- Is your son/daughter hanging out with a crowd whom you don't approve?
- Has your child been suspended?
- Does your child talk back to you?
- Have you noticed if your child has been cutting?
- Is your child drinking and/or using drugs?
- Is your child experiencing psychosomatic illness?
Having a Master's in teaching secondary school along with experience in family counseling and marriage services, I have gained the knowledge necessary to help teenagers and their problems. If you have concern for your child or think s/he might be experiencing issues, please don't let them go on any longer. Problems don't spontaneously fix themselves. Intervention is needed, and sadly parents are too often in denial and the last to see the severity of problems. Please visit my section on Life After Divorce.
