"Family Fantasy Friends" is an experiential modality used to deflect friction and fighting into opportunities for laughter and bonding.

It is fun for the entire family because of the imaginative role play and goofy acting out scenarios that exaggerate individual points, demonstrate affected emotional responses and expand ego perspectives.  This aspect of the theory gets people out of their personality comfort zones, allowing for expansion of character resulting in an increased number of ways for self expression.

It is not only educational, but Family Fantasy Friends evokes thinking and imaginative skills because it involves creating: metaphorical scenarios and paralleling constructs representative of family dynamics.  Knowledge and synthesis of history, sports, TV, songs, fictional and non-fictional characters and artistic prop creations will be utilized in order to create new angles of meaning and shared family future reference points.
