Parental Respect and Acting Out
- Has your child stopped listening to you?
- Is there no respect?
- Has your child missed curfew?
- Has your child run away?
- Does your child have unexplained behavioral changes?
- Is your son/daughter hanging out with a crowd whom you don't approve?
- Has your child been suspended?
- Does your child talk back to you?
- Have you noticed if your child has been cutting class?
- Is your child drinking and/or using drugs?
- Is your child experiencing psychosomatic illness?
Having a Master's in teaching secondary school as well as marriage family therapy, I am very knowledgeable when it comes to teenagers and their problems. If you have concern for your child or think s/he might be experiencing issues, please don't let them go on any longer. Problems don't spontaneously fix themselves. Intervention is needed, and sadly parents are too often in denial and the last to see severity of problems. Family systems therapy is so effective and Lily helps demonstrate how all family members can rekindle their sense of unity and respect.
