Group Therapy
If you are looking for something less traditional, group counseling is offered including topics such as: addiction treatment group therapy for substance abuse, group therapy for married couples, eating disorder therapy, group counseling sessions bereavement in children, and adolescent groups.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is for marriage counseling before the wedding or 'pre marriage counseling,' as well as marriage counseling for people seeking divorce, also known as 'divorce marriage counseling,' or couples therapy to avoid divorce. I provide divorce therapy for San Diego residents and plan to extend services to those in Los Angeles County.
Family Therapy
There is power in family therapy for different issues. Per research, the combination of family therapy and eating disorder counseling are effective in terms of recovery. I practice family therapy and substance abuse counseling. Lily Kotila has experience with family bereavement and the loss of a child.
Online/Email Therapy
If you are interested in another type of marriage family counseling alternative, you might be interested in online marriage counseling and a bereavement chat line, or online bereavement counseling in the form of chatzy. Online therapy is also available for many other issues. Both options are more affordable than traditional therapy.
